We purchased Lucky as a yearling and have worked with him ever since. From day one, he has been extremely respectful, a quick learner, and easy to train. He is broke to ride and drive, making him suitable for just about anyone. Lucky is always easygoing and quiet. There’s not much that unsettles him. He has been exposed to countless trails and confidently crosses water, logs, and brush. He has also been ridden and driven through town, handling traffic, big trucks, and busy environments with ease. Lucky stands patiently for grooming, tacking, and mounting, waiting for your cue before moving. We’ve put several inexperienced riders on him for trail rides, and he has always given them a safe and enjoyable experience. He remains calm and level-headed in tight situations, never losing his composure. Lucky drives both single and double and has even been part of a team giving moonlight rides. He can be left off work for weeks and will still perform the same every time. Under saddle, he knows his leads, lopes circles, and stays soft in the bridle. Lucky has three smooth, easy-to-ride gaits. A perfect blend of his Friesian and Quarter Horse lineage. His movement has just enough flow to soften the typical Quarter Horse gait without being too forward. We’ve loved this gelding from the very beginning, and we know you will too. Lucky is 100% sound and safe. Coal City, IN Emily 615-542-4564 Classic Horse Auction 931-224-2968
