He stands at 14.3 hands and is at the prime age of 6 years old. I have owned this gelding for the past 6 months, and he has been nothing short of gentle. No matter how much you ride him, he always rides the same! Durango previously made a living working in the feedlot. He can sidepass to open and close gates, take a one-step lope, and has a nice turn-around! Since I’ve had him, he has become my girlfriend’s favorite horse for trail riding. He’s covered many miles on the trails and has even been ridden through town. Durango is traffic-safe and not spooky around wildlife. He will cross logs, ditches, and water with ease.
