She has excellent ground manners, hitches quietly, loads and unloads easily, and stands well for the farrier. On the trail, Sissy is surefooted and willing to go anywhere you point her. She confidently crosses creeks, navigates hills, and has been exposed to various wildlife and livestock. In town, she handles different environments well, including traffic, drive-thrus, and parades. Over the past year, she has been on numerous camping trips, where she has been both stalled and tied out without any issues. She has also carried saddle bags and speakers without hesitation. Sissy moves with a good flat walk and a smooth, natural four-beat gait. She has plenty of motor and keeps up easily with any group she’s ridden with. At home, she is comfortable in both the barn and pasture, though she prefers being outside. When kept in the barn full-time, she can become antsy and more excitable when first saddled. She has been hooked to a cart about five times and has done well but will need more time and experience before being considered cart-broke. Recently, she was even exposed to gunfire for the first time (you can see her initial reaction in her video) and handled it with ease. Due to her age and energy level, we wouldn’t consider her “kid-broke,” but she has been ridden by both experienced juveniles and ladies. Sissy has her whole life ahead of her and will make someone the perfect trail mount for years to come! About Campbellsville, KY

The city was founded in 1817 and laid out by Andrew Campbell, who had moved from Augusta County, Virginia. Campbell owned a gristmill and a tavern and began selling lots in Campbellsville in 1814. Campbellsville was designated by the state legislature as the county seat in 1848 after Taylor County was separated from Green County. The city agreed to sell the public square to the county for one dollar so that a courthouse could be built. Campbellsville has several historic sites as listed under Taylor County in the National Register of Historic Places listings in Kentucky.
