Gaited Molly Mule

Stella is a 7-year-old Black and White mule, standing 15 hands tall. I’ve had the pleasure of owning her since she was 2 years old, and for the past 5 years, she’s been my personal mule. Over that time, Stella has been on countless trails and ridden through many different camps. Her stunning black-and-white coat always catches the eye, and she’s been a head-turner everywhere we go. Rather than leave her in the field, I’ve started riding her more, and she’s handled it all with ease – from muddy trails to steep hills, and even some of the roughest terrain. I’ve also hunted squirrels on her without a hitch. On the trail, Stella is content to ride in the front, middle, or back. She stands quietly to mount, and she’s a dream to work with—perfect for clipping, bathing, saddling, and bridling. Stella gets along great with dogs, as you can see in the video—no issues at all. She crosses water and bridges with confidence and steps easily over downed trees. She responds well to leg and hand cues and has a nice, comfortable running walk that she can maintain all day long. She neck reins effortlessly, and she’ll sidepass right up to anything you need to mount. Stella can even lay down, whether you’re in the saddle or on the ground. I’ve never seen another mule as beautifully marked as Stella. She stands perfectly for the farrier, trailers wonderfully, and loads and unloads with ease.
