Meet Peewee! This 14.2HH gelding is a real head-turner! Over the past six months, Peewee has been an absolute joy to have around. He’s always ready to ride and eager to go to work. I’ve ridden him extensively outside, and he knows what a full day’s work looks like. Lately, he’s been working cattle multiple times a day, tagging calves with ease. Peewee is steady on the trail, confidently navigating any obstacle in his path. He’s not spooky around wildlife or traffic, making him a reliable partner wherever you take him. He’s also had arena time, where he’s picked up a few fun tricks—he can sit on a bean bag and even ride bridleless! In the barn, Peewee is super clean in his stall and easy to catch, whether he’s in a pasture or inside. He’s an easy keeper, effortlessly maintaining his “Kardashian figure.” He stands well for the farrier and is currently shod on all four hooves, though he has strong feet and could easily go barefoot. Come take a ride and see why we love Peewee so much! Shipping can be arranged anywhere in the U.S.

About Somerset, KY
Somerset was first settled in 1798 by Thomas Hansford and received its name from Somerset County, New Jersey, where some of the early settlers had formerly lived. Somerset became the Pulaski County seat in 1802, and it was incorporated as a city in 1887. A significant Civil War battle was fought in January 1862, at Mill Springs (now "Nancy") about 8 miles (13 km) west of Somerset, and a museum is at the site. A smaller battle was fought nearby at Dutton's Hill in 1863. In 1875 tracks for the Southern Railroad were completed and Somerset saw a sudden population growth and an increase in industry.
