Gypsy Vanner Gelding for Sale in Rochelle, TX

This is Ranger! A four-year-old Gypsy Vanner who has the sweetest heart ever seen in a horse! While he is young and green, he is very intelligent and a quick learner. He is a great trail horse—sure-footed and not spooky. Ranger has also started in the hunter ring. He currently handles 2’ like a pro, but he clears 2’6 with no problem. He is shaping up to be a perfect hunter. He is a super comfortable, safe ride. He would excel with an intermediate/advanced rider or a beginner rider with a trainer. He is also great with kids; my seven-year-old rides and loves him. Ranger is very gentle and careful—he knows they are little! 😊 He leads, loads, ties, and is good for the farrier. UTD on all shots, teeth, and Coggins. He goes barefoot with really solid, clean feet. He is good with other horses and comes to greet us. OPEN BIDDING ON THEHORSEBAY.COM ENDS ON 3/05 @ 3:00 PM CT. More information is available on the website, including an UTD vet inspection, Coggins, video, images, and the owner's contact information to ask questions, request information, or make arrangements to come to visit.

About Rochelle, TX

Initial names for the community included Crewville and Crothers, both in honor of early McCulloch County residents. When a post office was established in 1879, the name Rochelle was suggested by a local settler from La Rochelle, France, which was accepted by postal officials. A one-room schoolhouse was first built in 1886 when the community had a population of approximately 30. The Fort Worth and Rio Grande Railway Company laid its track from Brownwood to Brady in 1903. A second line, the Gulf, Colorado and Santa Fe Railroad completed its track from Eden to Lometa in 1912.
