Mule Gelding for Sale in Fort Towson, OK
Meet Josey Wales; he is a 14.2-hand, 10-year-old Grulla Hinny. A hinny is a cross of a horse stallion and a jenny donkey. Josey is out of a quarter-horse stud, as shown in his confirmation. This guy is stout, safe, and pretty. He has a deep chest and a big broad butt; his striking grulla color is eye-catching, and you will stand out everywhere you go. He will be the leader on the trails with confidence or he will follow in the back of the group calmly and quietly. He is already a slow and safe hinny, but Josey slows down when a kid rides him and becomes a sure enough babysitter. Josey has ridden many miles here in southeast Oklahoma. He is comfortable and confident riding in rocky terrain, big water crossings, encounters with wild animals, big groups of trail riders, and even parades. He is also comfortable with a crupper or a breeching, good with his ears, and safe with his feet. He is easy to catch and groom, including clippers, saddle, and tailer. He is great around dogs and will make a good hunting hinny, whether you are hunting squirrels, hogs, coons, or whatever you’re after. Josey is even safe to ride at night. He has been coon hunting numerous times in his life. He is an easy keeper. Not just his condition, he does not need regular riding to stay warm, gentle, and safe. He is solid and sound and has never had any health issues. He is respectful around the barn and gets along well in the herd.
Don raised this hinny, but he is getting to the age that he wants to downsize his herd, and that is why someone is getting the opportunity to own this awesome hinny. Josey Wales is a pure pleasure to be around and will make someone a lifelong companion. For more information on Josey or to try him out please call Don Carter.

The site was located in Towson County, one of the constituent counties comprising the Apukshunnubbee District of the Choctaw Nation.
