Friesian Gelding for Sale in Hesperia, MI
Ignitor’s Champion is his registered name, and he’s a 7-year-old Friesian Morgan Sport horse gelding. His call name is Champ and he does know his name! He’s always ready to greet you, has a nice, friendly personality, and wants to be in your pocket. He stands right at 16 hands tall and very stout. He is broke to both RIDE & DRIVE. He is stout enough that he can easily carry a taller/bigger rider than a shortie like me, and he can easily pull a big carriage. He’s very handsome, well put together, and impressive no matter where you take him.
And don’t forget he RIDES & DRIVES. He’s safe both ways. For driving, he stands great for hitching, stop signs, and for getting on or off the cart. He’s fine with the traffic and doesn’t mind the big trucks. He’s been driving down a main highway and through town and doesn’t do a thing wrong. He’s easy on the lines and knows the words whoa, walk on, trot, and easy.
For riding, he’s a fun horse to ride. He does NOT have any bad habits or vices. He will cross any water, logs, or bridges. He does NOT spook easily. He has a smooth canter and trot. He has a slower/medium-paced trot and a faster-extended trot that he can do. He leaves home alone just fine and will separate on the trail.
He stands excellent for the Ferrier loads right up in the trailer and backs right out. He stands good for tacking and mounting. Gets along out in the herd in the middle of the pecking order. He’s an easy keeper on just grass or hay.
He’s been ridden with a little doggie and doesn’t mind his furry friend running up behind or jumping in and out of the brush. He’s my favorite kind of cross because, with the Morgans, you get that friendly puppy dog personality and brains. They are very smart and trail-savvy. But then, with the Friesian side, you also get a friendly puppy dog personality, brains, and that nice stocky build.
He’s a horse that’s been there and done that but is still young enough to have plenty of years left, and he’s level-headed and goes anywhere you point him. The steep hills are no problem; he’s very surefooted.
He is updated on vaccines, wormings, Ferrier, vet checks, and Coggins. Just call if you have any questions or want to come to see him.
OPEN BIDDING ON THEHORSEBAY.COM ENDS ON 1/02 @ 4:20 PM CT. More information is available on the website, including an UTD vet inspection, Coggins, video, images, and the owner's contact information to ask questions, request information, or make arrangements to come to visit.
