Spotted Saddle Gelding for Sale in Evansville, IN
Dustin Johnson is a gorgeous champagne and white Tobiano, registered Spotted Saddle horse with a beautiful streak of amber in his tail. This super-talented 8-year-old gelding has the right amount of talent, mind, and stamina to sail over miles of trails with you effortlessly.
His gaits and transitions are smooth. Riding buddies often talk about how he’s hardly sweating on rough uphill and downhill terrains. He loves riding over the
Midwest’s trails, rivers, streams, and hills. He drinks easily and is not a spooky horse. Dustin has a very smooth cantor and a nice long stride for walking. He gaits slow, medium, and pretty darn fast, as you will see in the video on the highway. Dustin is a great traveling horse, with no pawing and easy loading front in and back out. As long as he has hay to munch on, he will go long distances. We have trailered to Florida from Indiana the past two winters, with an overnight.
We ride with as many as 12 gaited horses at a steady clip. He can lead and set the
pace for such a big posey, or bring up the flanks, or ride in the middle. Smaller groups, non-gaited horses, and solo make no difference to Dustin.
He is excellent in the campground, and at home. He bathes, grazes with all the horses, and relaxes in his stall with strangers around him. Peaceful on a hitching post and rarely buddy sour. Grooms easily, good for the farrier, side passes and saddles up nicely. It won’t take long if you want
to teach him something new. Dustin Johnson is a very talented 8-year-old gelding with a good mind. “Come
ride with Me.”
