Mandy is a very special, one-of-a-kind animal. She is an absolutely gorgeous, naturally gaited, strawberry roan molly mule. She is 10 years old and stands 14.2 hands tall. Mandy has a thick, strong build and a beautiful conformation. She is graceful and athletic and has a super smooth gait. Mandy has a sweet, gentle nature and a willing-to-please attitude. Mandy has an excellent resume, as she has a load of experience, a smart mindset, and a long list of skills.
Mandy was raised just a few miles from our farm, and we have owned her for about six months since purchasing her from the family that raised her. She has been our son’s personal mount for the past 6 months, and he has taken her any and everywhere you could imagine! (Check out the videos!) Our son completely adores Mandy and has loved being able to enjoy her and put some finishing touches on her before he offers her for sale.
Mandy’s gait is all-natural. She does not need any special shoes or bit to achieve this gait. She can even go barefoot and will gait like she had on shoes. Her ride is smooth and fun!
On the trail, Mandy is safe, strong, sure-footed, and has loads of experience. We have taken her on weeklong camping trips, and she has been a trusted mount every single day. She is dependable. She will go up and down the steepest hills with ease. She crosses logs, mud, ditches, and deep water like a pro and handles all sorts of terrain confidently and skillfully. She is truly a trusted mount. She will ride out alone all by herself or with a big group. She has enough confidence to be a leader in the front of a group and is also plenty laid back to ride in the back of a group. We have even used her to lead other colts and horses off of while training them to lead.
Mandy has been shown at local fun shows and always does great! She does not mind the noise, lights, or commotion and is always the well-behaved lady we know and love. She always comes away with a ribbon and is a head-turner for sure.
Mandy has been hunted off of many, many times. There are very few days that go by that our boy isn’t squirrel hunting or coon hunting or just running a dog, and Mandy is always his pick to take along for the job. Mandy is also used to tarps, whip,s and guns and is completely traffic safe. She has been ridden to town many times as well.
We’ve also used Mandy around the farm to check fences and cattle and to even move and sort cattle. She is up to whatever task you ask him to do. She is also very familiar with dogs, cats, goats and other livestock. She pays no mind when the goats and cats go in and out of the stall and pasture with her!
Mandy is clean and quiet in the stall and gets along well with other horses in the pasture. She stands tied patiently and loads and hauls wonderfully as well.
This girl is truly one of a kind. She has many great characteristics, from her color and size to her gait to her mindset and sweet nature. Take the time to watch our full YouTube video to see for yourself what kind of mule she is! Feel free to call with any questions or to schedule a visit to see Mandy. Shipping can be arranged as well.
