I would like to introduce ROGUE THF a 4-year-old registered Tennessee Walking Horse Gelding. He is a beautiful Dark Chestnut, and he stands 15.1 hands tall, he is built like a tank, big and stocky. He stands on 4 keg shoes and is up-to-date on all vaccines, and has had his teeth done in the past month. His barn name is Henry, I have had this horse around for around 5 months and it has been a pleasure to work with him. During the past 5 months I have covered a few hundred miles in the woods and on the trails with him! You will have to look hard and long to find a better woods horse. He is willing to climb any type hill, cross any log or river and come over the steepest of hills with caution. This horse will take 100 percent care of you and himself! Henry is content anywhere in large crowds of horses, or he will ride out alone for that afternoon ride to clear your mind. Henry has been camping overnight, tied out on camping lines, he has been ridden all over Kentucky and Tennessee state parks. The horse is the true definition of trail horse, not to consider how gorgeous he is. He will walk out on a loose rein or will step up in to a smooth 4 beat gait for you. Henry has a great handle. He backs with a touch in the mouth, and easy enough in the mouth for a 8 year old to ride. Henry is broke to gun fire all types of traffic, parades, farm equipment, trains, livestock and even the wildlife that likes to jump up in the woods and has never spooked on any of it. I don’t consider any horse bombproof, but he is as close to one as you find in my book. He is broke to park out to mount, he will come to mounting block or stump to pick you up to get on, he is broke to pull a cart single or double, he is broke for a bullwhip, he step right out into a smooth canter for you this is one pretty cool guy. I have had him turned out in pasture with 8 other horses, and he will be at the bottom of the pecking order and is easy to catch with a little feed. He loads into a trailer with ease and will back off, he will stand for the farrier, haircuts, and baths with no issues. My 8-year-old stepdaughter has ridden him all over the farm and loved him! If you are looking for that perfect trail horse that is going to keep you and your family safe, I ask you to consider Henry. Feel free to call me with any questions or to schedule a time to come out and try this amazing big guy out! He will not disappoint you. I look forward to hearing from you. Merry Christmas!

About Hustonville, KY
The community was originally known as The Crossroads from its location on trails connecting the Kentucky and Green rivers and the Falls of the Ohio with Logan's Fort (present-day Stanford). It was then known as Farmington and, after the 1818 erection of a post office, Hanging Fork after a local stream named for two bandits who were hanged by Virginia officers rather than escorted back for trial. For three months in 1826, it was known as New Store, but the name then returned to Hanging Fork. When the town was established on February 29, 1836, it was renamed Hustonville after two local landowners; the post office adopted the name the next year. The city was formally incorporated by the state assembly in 1850.
