Faith! Faith is a stunning 4-year-old, dappled buckskin Tennessee Walker! From looks to brains, this mare has it all. She is extremely smart and teachable. She loves learning new things and is a joy to ride and be around in general. Faith will side-pass up to the mounting block, gate, log, etc., to pick you up and then side-pass up to an object to drop you off! Faith has wonderful ground manners and ground training. She can spin, side pass, lunge, and back out at complete liberty! She loads well and backs out with ease. She loves baths, and it is easy for anyone to tack and untack her. Faith is good for the vet and farrier and has an incredible foot; she has been barefoot her whole life, has extremely hard feet, and is very sure-footed. Faith gets along with mares, geldings, mules, ponies, sheep, goats- you name it, she is bottom of the pecking order. Faith has extensive trail miles and arena work! She is great in the mountains and can handle tough terrain and hard rides, but she is also used to being right downtown, dealing with traffic, people, dogs, bikes, trains, etc. She has been through countless food and coffee drive-thrus as well! Faith loves water and will cross anything you point her at. Faith has an amazing gait, hard and quick stop, and rollback, and is working on neck reining and crossovers! We have also started Faith Liberty under saddle; she will ride with just a neck rope! Faith knows voice commands and seat/leg cues. This mare is SO safe and quiet. She is good with time off and will ride the same whether she’s being ridden once a month or every day. This horse has an incredible personality and mind and is ready for her next adventure! We consider Faith extremely beginner-safe. She has NEVER bucked, bolted, reared, etc., and has no mean bone in her body! Check out Faith’s detailed video and meet this special mare

About Fort Collins, CO

Fort Collins was founded as a military outpost of the United States Army in 1864. It succeeded a previous encampment, known as Camp Collins, on the Cache La Poudre River, near what is known today as Laporte. Camp Collins was erected during the Indian wars of the mid-1860s to protect the Overland mail route that had been recently relocated through the region. Travelers crossing the county on the Overland Trail would camp there, but a flood destroyed the camp in June 1864. Afterward, the commander of the fort wrote to the commandant of Fort Laramie in southeast Wyoming, Colonel William O.
