Introducing Weston, a charming 5-year-old gelding Tennessee Walking horse with a delightful personality and an incredibly smooth gait! Trained at the renowned Loid Stables in Kentucky, Weston has received a solid foundation, focusing on his gait and demeanor from the start. Over the past three seasons, he has participated in field trials along the East Coast, adapting to various environments with enthusiasm and a positive attitude. Weston is respectful of personal space and a joy to work with, whether lunging, liberty work, or routine care like farrier and vet visits. He easily self-loads into any trailer, accepts any bridle, and is comfortable with the girth. Under saddle, Weston shines at any pace, responding beautifully to the rider's cues and boasting a truly exceptional lope. He has been desensitized to a wide range of stimuli such as gunshots, fireworks, dogs, kids, birds, deer, water, tarps, pool noodles, flags, sparklers, gender reveal poppers, machinery, bikes, trucks, ATVs, bubbles, bull whips, cows, bridges and is unfazed by anything that comes his way. When not field trialing, Weston loves trail riding, confidently navigating obstacles, and enjoying rides alone or in a group. Additionally, he knows a few tricks, such as lying down, standing patiently for mounting, and side passing to the mounting block with the snap of your finger. Easy to catch and friendly with other horses, Weston is a remarkable companion. His rich red color, long white mane, and ground-dragging tail are just a bonus!
