Misty Sky is a 10-year-old, flea-bitten grey Missouri Fox Trotter mare, standing approximately 15.0hh-15.1hh. This mare is flashy and eye-catching, and she has a personality you can only dream of. Misty has a quiet and willing attitude no matter where she is, with a wonderful temperament and excellent ground manners. She has a natural 4-beat gait, which is butter smooth and fun to ride. Misty has been hauled on several occasions, shown in local trail classes, and ridden through rugged terrains throughout the mountains. She is very surefooted and has no issues with various types of wildlife, including birds, wild turkeys, deer, coyotes, etc. Misty remains steadfast and isn’t phased when unexpected things happen on the trail, such as unleashed dogs running up barking or chaotic traffic. She has been exposed to semi-trucks, trailers, and tractors and has not exhibited any issues. She will go down steep slopes, cross water shallow or deep, cross bridges, and step over logs and collapsed trees. She has also done many other obstacles, such as walking over tarps, dragging tires, walking over covered pallets, carrying flags, opening and closing gates, and so much more. She loads, ties, bathes, clips, and stands while being tacked/mounted. My teenage girls have ridden her to convenience stores in the middle of the night multiple times with their friends. She goes willingly and doesn’t care about the things most horses would be intimidated by. This mare will do it all. Her only vice is that she’s not a fan of fly spray; she doesn’t do anything besides move around while you’re spraying her. However, it’s something she can easily work out. She’s suitable for any level rider and will help grow the confidence every rider needs. She is completely sound with no health issues or extra maintenance and is UTD on everything (dewormed, feet trimmed, teeth floated, etc). About Aurora, CO

Before European settlement, the land that Aurora sits on was the territory of the Arapaho, Cheyenne, Núu-agha-tʉvʉ-pʉ̱ (Ute), and Očeti Šakówiŋ (Sioux) tribes. Aurora originated in the 1880s as the town of Fletcher, taking its name from Denver businessman Donald Fletcher who saw it as a real estate opportunity. He and his partners staked out four square miles (10 km 2) east of Denver, but the town - and Colorado - struggled mightily after the Silver Crash of 1893. At that point Fletcher skipped town, leaving the community with a huge water debt. Inhabitants decided to rename the town Aurora in 1907, after one of the subdivisions composing the town, and Aurora slowly began to grow in Denver's shadow becoming the fastest-growing city in the United States during the late 1970s and early 1980s.
