Rambler is an eye-catching sorrel tobiano, Tennessee Walking Horse gelding standing around 15hh and is seven years old. Rambler has been my grandpa’s prize possession and has been his main horse, but at almost 74 years old, his knees are giving out, and he no longer wants to ride, so my girlfriend has been riding Rambler this summer/fall, and we have had him on lots of weekend long camping trips. He will picket line tie and trailers well, and we have hauled him to state parks. Rambler is the type of horse that any family member can ride, he is super safe, quiet and gentle. He is very beginner-friendly, and if you can hold the reins, you can for sure ride him! He will flatfoot walk on a loose rein, or he can move on out if you ask. He has a smooth and natural 4-beat gait that anyone will enjoy riding on! Rambler has been shown at local fun shows and ridden by kids as young as 6, in pleasure classes, and seen it all from the bright lights to hearing those blaring loudspeakers. Rambler has seen it all and handles everything in stride! He has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife, such as deer or turkey, or other animals like cows or dogs, and will go anywhere he is asked to. He has ridden many miles in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky and encountered every obstacle possible on the trail. He will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and all rough terrain while still being sure-footed. He has been riding in traffic and is very traffic-safe around cars, semis, logs, and dump trucks. If you are looking for that special trail riding partner, look no further!! Feel free to call Trevor Patrick with any questions.
