This 7-year-old 15hh SSH gelding has it all. Perfect confirmation. A beautiful Buckskin coat with just enough white to chrome him out. Very intelligent and eager to learn. Smooth, consistent 4-beat gait and a relaxing canter. Most importantly, he is GENTLE, QUIET, and FORGIVING!! Which means anyone should be able to enjoy him! From the novice rider to the experienced rider, everyone can find something they like about Oakley! Oakley came from an older couple in Middle TN who had carried him all over for several years, camping, trail riding, and going to every local parade. That being said, he has been exposed to anything you can imagine. Wildlife, livestock, traffic, and wild youngins can’t excite him. He has logged more miles than your uncle’s worn-out Toyota. He is one of the best trail horses you will ever ride. He can ride as slow as anything or stay up with the other gaited horses. He can ride at whatever speed you want. But loves to creep along. If you like to walk, you will LOVE him! Not that he is hard to gait. He just loves to walk along slowly and easily. He is extremely sure-footed. Crosses all types of water, slippery rocks, and fallen trees. Oakley is a very personable horse. He loves people and loves attention. He will be the first one to meet you at the gate. Handles like a big puppy dog. Loves to be groomed and pampered. Easy to clip and bathe. Excellent for the farrier and has great feet—easy to saddle and bridle. Always stands dead still to be mounted and dismounted. Rides off with or without company. Rides anywhere in a group as well. I can go on and on about Oakley all day because of how special he is.
