Tennessee Walking Gelding for Sale in Paron, AR

OPEN BIDDING ON THEHORSEBAY.COM ENDS ON 11/04 @ 3:00 PM CT. More information is available on the website, including an UTD vet inspection, Coggins, video, images, and the owner's contact information to ask questions, request information, or make arrangements to come to visit. Meet Kat, a beautiful Tennessee Walking Horse gelding, black and white spotted, with the most gorgeous and unique amber-colored eyes. Kat stands 16.2 hands and is 13 years old. He is a gentle giant and a very versatile horse, great for hunting, field trialing, or trail riding. He is desensitized to everything that can be thrown at him. Kat was a competition-handling field trial horse before we got him and then was a plantation gallery hunting horse for the last five years. Gun fire, loud commands, whistles, dogs running past and underfoot, strange places or large groups, mean nothing to Kat, all in a days work for him. Kat has no rear, buck, bite, or kick, loads well, is excellent with the farrier, loves to be bathed, and stands for grooming, clipping, fly spray, and saddling. Kat eats up the attention. He’s a quiet, loving companion, and with those expressive amber-colored eyes, you’ll fall fast in love. Little girls from the neighborhood bring him treats and love on him from the fence. He is that special, gentle giant. Kat will cross water, ditches, logs, etc. He’s done it all. He pastures well with other horses, will not get involved with their little battles, but prefers to stay back and stay out of things. However, he does have the respect of the herd, and others will stand back when he comes to the gate during feed time. Kat knows his stall and goes straight to it at dinner time and will lead the way back to the pasture like a true gentleman. He has been pastured with mares and pays them no more attention than any of the other geldings. Kat has been ridden in various situations and terrains, solo rides, and small or large groups. If ridden from his home, he does quicken his pace on the way back to the barn, but he is safe and does not try to run back to the barn. Please watch Kat’s videos and call or text for any additional information or with any questions. Happy trails!
