Friesian Gelding for Sale in Auburn, KY

OPEN BIDDING ON THEHORSEBAY.COM ENDS ON 10/30 @ 6:00 PM CT. More information is available on the website, including an UTD vet inspection, Coggins, video, images, and the owner's contact information to ask questions, request information, or make arrangements to come to visit. With a stunning black coat, flowing mane & tail, noble head, and refined frame, Zeus appears as though he came straight out of a fairytale. Zeus is a 15.2-hand Georgian Grande (Friesian/Saddlebred Cross) Gelding who rides English/Western and drives. Zeus has gorgeous uphill movement—the perfect combination of forward and confident yet controlled. He canters collected on the correct lead. He has been started over standards. Zeus is always willing to learn and shows promise in an English riding career. ZEUS has been extensively lady-driven. He patiently stands while I harness, bridle, and hook him to the cart by myself. I am comfortable driving Zeus alone, but I also enjoy taking the kids and friends for rides. He is unbothered by barking dogs and passing traffic. ZEUS is confident on the trail. He enjoys water, goes up and down inclines, over downfall, and easily navigates rough terrain. He is not herd-bound, making for an enjoyable ride out alone. He is perfectly content to lead or follow the group and can be ridden away from others without issue. ZEUS is a pleasure to have around. He turns out in a mixed herd or can be stalled, always neat and tidy. He stands tied/cross-tied, stands for bathing, saddling, for the farrier, and for mounting. He loads, unloads, and hauls well. Zeus is exposed daily and is comfortable around children, ATVs, farm machinery, and other livestock. ZEUS sells with current Coggins, proof of vaccination, & health certificate required for transport. We can assist in arranging shipping to anywhere! Feel free to reach out with any additional questions or if you would like to meet Zeus prior to adding him to your family!
