Tennessee Walking Gelding for Sale in Frannie, WY

OPEN BIDDING ON THEHORSEBAY.COM ENDS ON 10/23 @ 5:20 PM CT. More information is available on the website, including an UTD vet inspection, Coggins, video, images, and the owner's contact information to ask questions, request information, or make arrangements to come to visit. Nacho is truly one of a kind! He is gentle, Sweet, Friendly, and Patient. He is beautiful, big-hearted, and willing to do whatever you ask. Standing 15’1, he’s good-boned and stout, built to carry any size rider all day. He has been hauled and ridden all over the mountains of Montana to the forests of the Midwest and the desert of Arizona. Nacho is experienced with long days on the trail, with all kinds of wildlife. He’s been through all types of terrain, from prairies to mountains and arenas, too. Nacho is also seasoned with dogs running around, loud noises, machinery, and traffic. Nacho has a solid foundation of groundwork and arena riding. He will flex, move off leg pressure, pick up his shoulders, and is very light and responsive. He is SOFT with a lot of feels while riding or doing groundwork. He rides in everything from a D-ring snaffle to a curb bit, halter, and neck rope, and even guides by lightly asking with your fingertips on his neck. He walks quietly, gaits, and steps right up into a balanced lope, all on a loose, flowy rein. He responds to light leg or hand cues and will stop and back using your seat and legs. Nacho stands perfectly to mount and moves over to a stump, tailgate, or anything you find to make it easy for you to get on. He has a great neck rein, side passes, stops, and backs, and is always very controllable. His gait is SO SMOOTH and comfortable that you will never want to stop. He has excellent transitions between gaits and will go whatever speed you ask, from a slow walk to an easy-going, enjoyable gait, and step right up into a collected lope. Nacho is a SOLID trail horse. He doesn’t get in a hurry, he goes up, down over and through whatever you point him at. He is like a 4-wheeler on steep hills, with no rush in rough areas, and knows how to pick his way through big rocks and over downed trees. He is SUREFOOTED. Always CONFIDENT and self-assured when others come and go. We’ve swung a rope off him, dragged logs and barrels, and used him to pony other horses and mules. He is good with dogs, water, bridges, machinery, traffic, tarps, flags, wildlife, bullwhips, and much more. Nacho gets along with others in the pasture and is always easy to catch. He stands perfectly for saddle, bridle, and mount, as well as for the farrier. He loads and hauls great. He is excellent at washing and will stand quietly tied all day if you need to. Truly a PLEASURE to be around. Nacho is a special and fun horse. We are thankful to have had him in our program so that everyone in our family could ride and enjoy him. He’s willing, smart, gentle, well-trained, confident, and controllable. Nacho is a horse that you can enjoy for a lifetime on Happy Trails.
