Tennessee Walking Gelding for Sale in Bowling Green, KY
Loid Stables proudly introduces Push’s Blue Diesel, a gorgeous blue roan TWH gelding that has been in our training program since he was a weanling. This show stopping 5 year old stands at 16.3 hands tall and will effortlessly park out to 15.3 hands for you to mount. Diesel has had an extensive amount of groundwork since being in our care from a very young age, he’s an incredibly respectful and gentle gelding.
Diesel is good gaited and lopes on both leads with simple lead changes. He has a willing mind and is very sure footed. Diesel will ride in the deepest of water and up the steepest hills with ease. He’s been substantially trail ridden across several states and through a multitude of adventurous terrains. He has no preference being in the front, middle, or back of a group out on the trails. Diesel walks best on a loose rein and will happily take you anywhere he’s pointed. He also neck reins and will side pass to anything you need him to with the snap of a finger or even by just raising your hand. Diesel has a sliding stop and backs easily. This stunning blue roan is very easy to catch in a stall or pasture, he gets along just fine with others when in the pasture as well.
Diesel stands beautifully for the farrier, loads, and unloads easily on a trailer; whether you need to load forward, backwards, alone, or with other horses. He’s broke to whips, gunfire, and tarps and is around large farm equipment, daily. You may shoot a gun while mounted on his back or from the ground. Diesel is also very familiar to dogs. We have several dogs that go on trail rides with us consistently as well as around the stable grounds, daily. He can be ridden bareback, double, English, or Western. Diesel has been specially trained in Western dressage, jumping, and trail riding. This gorgeous boy lays down easily by picking up a leg and can also be mounted while down. Diesel has been trained to carry an American flag, items like an umbrella and even pulling a wagon; he’s comfortable with anything you need him to do or carry. He does an incredible job pulling a cart or wagon and stands wonderfully to be hooked up to either.
We’ve had a multitude of riders on his back, aging from 2 years old to the late 70’s. Diesel has a great awareness of who’s on his back and their capabilities/experience. He’s very affectionate and loves attention from everyone. He walks at liberty and will follow you anywhere, Diesel aims to please. If you’re looking for a personable and highly intelligent gelding, look no further! Our training program, with decades of professional experience, is designed to prepare our horses for any and every situation they may come into contact with. We take a huge amount of pride in which horses get our “Gold Standard” seal of approval. Serious inquiries are always welcomed and encouraged to visit us in person!

About Bowling Green, KY
The first Europeans known to have reached the area carved their names on beech trees near the river around 1775. By 1778, settlers established McFadden's Station on the north bank of the Barren River. Present-day Bowling Green developed from homesteads erected by Robert and George Moore and General Elijah Covington, the namesake of the town near Cincinnati. [ citation needed ] The Moore brothers arrived from Virginia circa 1794. In 1798, two years after Warren County had been formed, Robert Moore donated 2 acres (8,100 m 2) of land to county trustees for the purpose of constructing public buildings.
