Spade 16yr old TWH Black & White Gelding. Spade is BIG BONED and stands 15.2hh. A true gentleman, gentle, loves to be groomed. EXTREMELY SMOOTH. He can be a forward mover; you’ll get where you are going in a jiffy, but you can rate him down in speed, and he will walk out slowly as well. (All seen in his 16-minute video) He’s been trail ridden all over the country. Not a thing he won’t cross, climb, or swim! He’s been to Eminence MO on long camping trips. Rode 50+ miles in one weekend and was still ready to ride! He is sturdy and sure-footed like a mule. He will follow, lead, or stay in the middle. He will ride off alone. If riding in a group, he likes to stay with the group and can get a little nickery if you ride off, but nothing uncontrollable. Riding out alone he does not do that. We have had beginners on him several times on group trail rides, and he will just be a safe follower on cruise control if you allow him. (With that said, that’s at your own discretion) Suitable for any confident level of rider that is proficient with the basics. Stands perfect for the farrier. Has had a dental done. Stalls / pasture well. Low man on the totem pole in the herd. A very easy keeper, I would suggest keeping him on a diet as it’s done well for him. We truly love having Spade around, and he’s been the go-to take to town or down the trails! You will truly love having Spade around! He will come with a basic pre-sale exam by our vet. Additional PPE are encouraged and at buyers’ expense.

About Lewisburg, TN
The area in which Lewisburg and Marshall County is located was long occupied by various cultures of indigenous peoples. Historic Native Americans were here when French, Spanish and English explorers entered the area. Revolutionary War veterans were given land grants in this area by the State of North Carolina for services rendered during the war followed in the 1780s. North Carolina still claimed this territory under its colonial charter, but later gave up that claim and Tennessee became an independent state. Marshall County, named in honor of the young nation's first Supreme Court Chief Justice and noted American jurist, John Marshall, was established by an act of the Tennessee General Assembly in 1836.
