Colt received paid for training and handling at the good equine training facility Wild Spur Horse Training (FaceBook) where he was halter broke, handled on ground, and taught to load on trailer. Colt was vaccinated and wormed by a veterinarian. Colt has current negative Coggins' test. His genetic health testing results printed on his registration certificate are: GBED = N/N, HYPP = N/N, HERDA = N/N, MYHM = N/N, MH = N/N, PSSM1 = N/N. Prospective buyer is welcome to hire a licensed veterinarian to do a pre-purchase veterinary examination at buyer's expense. His grandsires are two good AQHA stallions that stood at stud in the Southeast; KO Kid (paternal grandsire) and Trixie Peppy Henry (maternal grandsire). Photo made while he was at trainer's barn. He has grown some since photo was taken. Currently he receives either Purina Omolene 300 grain or alfalfa hay daily. He could be competitive in yearling halter classes in open shows in the spring if he were pulled from the pasture and started being fitted up. Cash only.

About Ardmore, TN

Ardmore began in 1911 as a railroad stop named "Austin" after a store owner, Alex Austin, who served construction crews working on the nearby L&N Railroad (now CSX) line that would connect Nashville, Tennessee, and Decatur, Alabama. When the L&N opened a depot in 1914, it changed the town's name to "Ardmore." The name was likely inspired by Ardmore, Pennsylvania. Ardmore, Tennessee, incorporated in 1949.
