Quarter Horse Mare for Sale in Ardmore, TN

75% performance breeding and 25% halter breeding - should make an above average performance prospect with some pretty. Filly received paid for training and handling at the good equine training facility Wild Spur Horse Training (FaceBook) where she was halter broke, handled on ground, and taught to load on trailer. Filly was vaccinated and wormed by a veterinarian. Filly has current negative Coggins' test. Her genetic health testing results printed on her registration certificate are: GBED = N/N, HYPP = N/N, HERDA = N/N, MYHM = N/N, MH = N/N, PSSM1 = N/N. Prospective buyer is welcome to hire a licensed veterinarian to do a pre-purchase veterinary examination at buyer's expense. Her grandsires are two good AQHA stallions that stood at stud in the Southeast; KO Kid (paternal grandsire) and Sugar Trix Leo (maternal grandsire who stood at Bartlett Ranch). Photo made while she was at trainer's barn. She has grown some since photo was taken and looks like she will reach 15 hands at maturity. Currently she receives either Purina Omolene 300 grain or alfalfa hay daily. She should be a top prospect for ranch horse events. Cash only.

About Ardmore, TN

Ardmore began in 1911 as a railroad stop named "Austin" after a store owner, Alex Austin, who served construction crews working on the nearby L&N Railroad (now CSX) line that would connect Nashville, Tennessee, and Decatur, Alabama. When the L&N opened a depot in 1914, it changed the town's name to "Ardmore." The name was likely inspired by Ardmore, Pennsylvania. Ardmore, Tennessee, incorporated in 1949.
