Kane is a drop-dead gorgeous black and white Tobiano 8-year-old registered Spotted Saddle Horse gelding standing a shade over 15 hands tall on a keg shoe. This is a rare opportunity to own a horse of this caliber. We have personally had Kane since early April of this year and in that time we’ve put him to the test. Kane has been trail ridden his whole life all over Tennessee and Kentucky. I challenge you to find something he won’t cross or go up. He is rock solid in the woods and sure-footed enough to go up even the rockiest, steepest mountain. Kane is a trail horse deluxe. He rides comfortably in the front, middle or back. Everyone coming and going around our barn has taken him for a spin. Whether it was a teenage girl or a 10-year-old boy, Kane always performed his best. Kane is not only a superb trail mount, he is also no stranger to the Saturday night show circuit. We carried him to several horse shows this year and Kane was always in the top ribbons. Whether it being in a juvenile class or an open class, Kane always showed out and was in the top 3. Kane does everything a good horse should do, loads and unloads easily, hauls quietly, stands great to shoe, does great with a bath, haircut, tacks up without moving a muscle, comes out of the stall to you, and will stand tied still on a line all day long. Kane is safe around traffic, bicycles, dogs, Amish buggies, four wheelers, tractors and wildlife jumping up on the trail. Kane also parks to mount, comes to the mounting block to get you, canters easily, has a soft handle on him. This is not a run-of-the-mill horse. If you are a serious trail rider or a person that wants the flashiest horse on the trail, then consider Kane as your next equine partner! We have truly enjoyed our time with this horse this summer, and we wish his new owners a lifetime full of fun with this one-of-a-kind horse. Kane is up-to-date on his shoeing, his dental work, and vaccines. He also comes with a current ky coggins and health paper. We are selling this horse sound and ready to go all except that this horse has one blemish on him and that is mild scaring on his right front leg, we have put together over 15 mins of final video showcasing this great horse and as you watch it thoroughly you’ll see that he goes sound and this scar is merely cosmetic. As always with our horses, don’t just take our word for it, watch the entire video and, as always, you are more than welcome to come try this horse out in person. About Hustonville, KY

The community was originally known as The Crossroads from its location on trails connecting the Kentucky and Green rivers and the Falls of the Ohio with Logan's Fort (present-day Stanford). It was then known as Farmington and, after the 1818 erection of a post office, Hanging Fork after a local stream named for two bandits who were hanged by Virginia officers rather than escorted back for trial. For three months in 1826, it was known as New Store, but the name then returned to Hanging Fork. When the town was established on February 29, 1836, it was renamed Hustonville after two local landowners; the post office adopted the name the next year. The city was formally incorporated by the state assembly in 1850.
