She is sure footed, level-headed and very friendly, Memphis makes trail riding fun! Memphis stands 14.2 hh, and is 9 years old. This is such a nice mare. On the ground, she is well mannered. Easy to catch, bathe, tack up etc. Great in the stall and pretty easy to catch out in the bigger pasture too. She enjoys being pampered and groomed and petted, and she is one of the few and far between mares that you can actually form a bond with. Memphis has been trail ridden pretty much all over. I love how she handles trails with ease. We have used her to move cattle, and lots of other various riding Her trot is pretty smooth, and she will drop her head, collect if you ask. She is a pretty good girl, but she has enough buttons for someone experienced to really have fun with. We loved this mare so much and we hope her next owner will love her as much as we do!! No bad habits, or vices other than just being a little pushy at times. She is 100% sound in every way.
