Tennessee Walking Gelding for Sale in Crab Orchard, KY

Hawk is the sweetest, most handsome, palomino gelding. He is a 5-year-old Tennessee Walking Horse standing 16.2 1/2 hands high. Hawk has the very best nature and temperament. He is gentle, kind, friendly, and personable. He is patient both on the ground and in the saddle. Hawk is mindful of and respects your space but loves your attention. His gait is all-natural and super smooth. He requires no special shoeing or bit to achieve this gait and he is a pleasure to ride all day long. On the trail, Hawk has loads of experience. We have taken him on weeklong camping trips, and he has been a trusted mount every single day. He is dependable, strong, and surefooted on the trail. He is a horse that each member of our family has enjoyed riding. Hawk will go up and down the steepest hills with ease. He crosses logs, mud, ditches, and deep water like a pro, and handles all sorts of terrain with confidence and skill. He is truly a trusted mount. Hawk will ride out alone all by himself or with a big group. He has enough confidence to be a leader in the front of a group and is plenty laid back to ride in the back of a group. We’ve used Hawk around the farm for everyday chores such as checking fences and cattle. He is no stranger to livestock of all kinds and even is familiar with wildlife such as deer, turkey, and squirrels. He’s been used to handling a lot of dogs and guns in field trials and hunting situations. He is very familiar with leading dogs and a lot of gunfire. Hawk also is an excellent driving horse. He will drive single or double. He’s been driven on the trail and to town many times. He is completely traffic-safe and will do what you ask and go where you ask without hesitation. We are privileged enough to buy Hawk from an older gentleman who had raised and trained him. It has been a pleasure owning this sweet guy. We have nothing bad to say about Hawk as he has no vices and will win you over with his willing to please attitude. Hawk is easy to catch, and gets along well with other horses and barn animals like the dogs, cats, and goats that run in and out of the stall with him. He is clean and quiet in the stall. He stands patiently for the farrier and in the cross ties. He loads and hauls wonderfully and loves a bath. Watch our full YouTube video to see all of this for yourself, and more! We encourage you to schedule a visit to come and ride Hawk for yourself! Shipping can be arranged anywhere in the US.
