Paint Gelding for Sale in Laporte, CO

OPEN BIDDING ON THEHORSEBAY.COM ENDS ON 9/18 @ 5:00 PM CT. More information is available on the website, including an UTD vet inspection, Coggins, video, images, and the owner's contact information to ask questions, request information, or make arrangements to come to visit. O What A Super Star is a stout, big-boned, flashy, deluxe ranch horse ready to take on anything you’d like. Take him to the sorting pen and win some money, or take him down the trail, and he goes with a level head; after months off, you can step right back on him and have the same horse you put up, no buck or rear. He reads a cow well, has an excellent handle on him, and rides off seat and leg. In all videos, Super Star has novice to intermediate riders on him, but with a more advanced rider, he will collect up in a bridle bit and take on the most serious ranch work or show pens out there. When doctoring or tagging in the pasture, nothing can outrun him. We have also had kids on him, and he will safely pack a young rider down the trail all day. He has ridden in town and seen bridges, rivers, tarps, bikes, and strollers, and none of it phases him. Super Star has also been used to gathering cattle in the Rocky Mountains, is sure-footed in rough terrain, has seen wildlife, and regularly rides with dogs. He loads and unloads as one should, hauls next to anything in an open stock trailer, and stands great for the vet and farrier. This big paint gelding will get you many compliments anywhere you go and steal your heart along the way. Thank you in advance from totonkatrailequine. We look forward to everyone’s calls and meeting you. We will return your call if you leave us a text message. No voicemail! Shipping can be arranged anywhere in the States or internationally. Payment is expected by noon on the next business day via wire transfer. Thank you again from totonkatrailequine.

About Laporte, CO

The town was first settled by French-Canadian fur trappers and mountain men. It was the gateway to all the mountainous region lying north of the South Platte River and extending from the Plains to the Continental Divide. The trappers built cabins here along the Cache la Poudre River as early as 1828, making it the first white settlement in Larimer County. According to legend, a group of fur traders had earlier stashed supplies (including gunpowder) in a cache along the river near Laporte, and that is how the river got its name. It became the home of Antoine Janis in 1844, who is often noted as the first permanent white settler north of the Arkansas River.
