Gelding for Sale in Xenia, OH

Pongo is a favorite here at the ranch. Pongo is a gentleman and an overall “good citizen”. He is happy to go wherever his handler takes him without dispute. Pongo is SO lovable and wants nothing more than a soft hand petting on him letting him know he’s been a good boy. Pongo is a 10 year old Gorgeous Appaloosa Percheron Gelding standing at 15 hands and he is as stout as he is tall. He is such a pleasure to be around at the barn whether you’re just handling him or riding him. He has just enough whoa and go to make such a pleasurable mount on the trail, in the arena, or even in the middle of town! He doesn’t mind seeing the strange things and loud noises that come with a busy ranch or even walking along the busy city streets. Pongo is cool, calm and collected wherever he goes on the trail as well. Take him out with other horses or by himself! He’ll love the adventure either way! He is extremely sure footed with great feet making him the perfect trail mount. He doesn’t have any fancy buttons which makes him super easy and uncomplicated to ride. He truly is a point and go style gelding. He doesn’t need to be ridden everyday to be a relaxed mount and can be put up in a stall, turned out by himself or with other horses. He is truly such a sweet gelding that just wants to please. Pongo is up to date on all cares. Pongo is one the whole family will enjoy! Don't Miss out on this caliber of gelding!!! About Xenia, OH

Xenia was founded in 1803, the year Ohio was admitted into the Union. In that year, European-American pioneer John Paul bought 2,000 acres (8.1 km 2) of land from Thomas and Elizabeth Richardson of Hanover County, Virginia, for "1050 pounds current moneys of Virginia." Paul influenced county commissioners to locate the county seat on this land at the forks of the Shawnee creeks, stimulating development of the settlement here. Joseph C. Vance was named to survey the site and lay out the town. The following year, he bought the town site of 257 acres (1.04 km 2) from John Paul for $250.
