Mare for Sale in Manhattan, IL

OPEN BIDDING ON THEHORSEBAY.COM ENDS ON 9/03 @ 6:00 PM CT. More information is available on the website, including an UTD vet inspection, Coggins, video, images, and the owner's contact information to ask questions, request information, or make arrangements to come to visit. Ava is a rare beauty. She is a gorgeous 15.1 chestnut mare with lots of flashy white markings. She is part Criollo, an extremely rare breed to own in the U.S. Ava has had many hats in her life. She has competed in professional polo, completed several 25-mile endurance races, and trained for mounted shooting. She has had extensive pleasure riding training. Ava learned to neck rein and spin like the best of them from polo. As her training continued, she progressed to learn to give to the bit and collect herself in a slow and comfortable trot and lope. Ava will move off your leg to turn and has a great whoa. She will come to the mounting block or fence to mount, handle being shot off of, and even walk through smoke. While on the trail, she saw barking dogs, bikes, and even raging motorbikes and handled them easily. Ava has an amazing drive to work and is all heart. I know the next lucky person to have her will be extremely impressed with her training and enduring heart.
