Malibu
Malibu is a 5-year-old liver chestnut Quarter pony!
Malibu stands at 13 hands and is as built as solid as they come!
Malibu is extremely versatile and has been ridden in lots of different terrains and situations!
I have ridden Malibu to our local coffee shop and lunch place with lots of dogs, strollers, runners and traffic! Including semis and loud trailers/trucks.
My little sister has also taken her up into the mountains and done lots of steep and rough terrain with her; she’s great at making or finding a trail and will go over or through anything you point her at.
Malibu is sure-footed and has been barefoot her whole life.
Malibu has the start of some English as well and has not ever refused a jump, she makes an extremely cute hunter jumper.
Malibu has also gone through the gymkhana patterns and is athletic enough to become very competitive at them consistently.
Malibu is an all-around impressive and talented mare with a lot of athleticism and grit!
Take her any direction you want, she will excel!!
Malibu is as bombproof as they come when you’re on her and we’ve even hauled around flags and tarps on her but can be very nervous and stand offish when she first meets you, she’s very loyal and sweet once she gets to know you. And will be best with someone with a quiet and loving hand. Malibu can be nervous to be caught but will face you and, if you click, will walk right up; video at the end explaining!:) I would love to talk to you and have you meet sweet Malibu! Give me a call!

About Fort Collins, CO
Fort Collins was founded as a military outpost of the United States Army in 1864. It succeeded a previous encampment, known as Camp Collins, on the Cache La Poudre River, near what is known today as Laporte. Camp Collins was erected during the Indian wars of the mid-1860s to protect the Overland mail route that had been recently relocated through the region. Travelers crossing the county on the Overland Trail would camp there, but a flood destroyed the camp in June 1864. Afterward, the commander of the fort wrote to the commandant of Fort Laramie in southeast Wyoming, Colonel William O.
