Tennessee Walking Gelding for Sale in Bismarck, AR
Right upfront, folks, here are the key points in the following ad. Jazz has a low back, so our vet recommends him for a rider+saddle combination of 150 lbs or less if he is to be ridden on long rides, especially on rough trails. His topline improves with good nutrition and conditioning.
He has a fast walk and a slow gait. If you are looking for a pokey horse or a speed racker, he is not the horse for you. If you are still interested, read on.
We don't have papers on Jazz Man but he has TWH/Racking Horse conformation, gait and disposition. He has a fast walk and slow, smooth gaits. I have two collapsed disks in my back, so I can no longer ride a trotting horse. But I can ride Jazz for hours.
Jazz is gentle and friendly with people and other horses. He is good to groom, saddle, bridle, mount, shoe and vaccinate. Stands well for fly spray and bathing. Loads great. He's good on the trails and crosses water. Spooks in place. No buck, rear, bolt or wheel.
I recommend him for an intermediate rider because he is a fast walker, which seems to make beginners nervous. He is alert on the trails, not out of fear but out of curiosity.
Jazz is up to date on Coggins and EHV-1 vaccine. He is healthy and sound. He does need a yearly dental. His teeth are slightly misaligned, so they do not wear evenly. This does not affect his health or his ability to eat or wear a bit. It is just something his new owner needs to be aware of.
I am selling Jazz because I have health issues and my riding days are limited. I want to find him a good home where he can be loved and enjoyed as much as he is here.
