Sully is a 15.2-hand, beautiful Andalusian Cross. He is speckled grey with strong grey hooves, and he is a barn favorite because of his sweet demeanor and easy-going attitude. Experience: He has been around people, farm equipment, dogs, traffic, fireworks, etc. We spend every day working our horses. He comes to you from the pasture when He sees you. He is easy to catch and easy to tie up, too. He has an easy-going personality and will follow you around in the pasture. He is easy for the farrier, hauls and loads great in a trailer, and is easy to saddle; he has been hauled a lot and does not bang up the trailer. He is calm when going to new Places. He is a reliable mount in town or out on the trail. He has been ridden on rough terrain, around livestock, barking dogs, Motorcycles, crosses water, and creeks. He is perfect for overnight trail camping. He does not spook and will stay tied up without pawing. He is a forward mover, and that means he loves to go, and you do not have To worry about him refusing to go on a trail. He will ride solo or in a group. We took him to a city park and the town square for the videos. You see, there Is no spookiness or craziness in town. That makes him a wonderful mount. He loves to go to new places and is awaiting his new rider! He stands still upon mounting And dismounting. Gait: He is a smooth riding horse at a trot and a lope. We will help arrange the transportation, and the buyer will be responsible for it. We expect payment on the next business day after the auction is completed.

About Boyd, TX

Originally named Greasy Bend in reference to the local hog fattening industry, the settlement was established in the early 1890s by farmers. The Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific Railroad reached the town in 1893 and the settlement was subsequently renamed Parkhurst in reference to one of the railroad's officials. Not long afterwards, the town renamed again to Boyd (another railroad official) to avoid possible confusion with the nearby Park Springs.
