Sugars is a 2019 AQHA registered mare. She is a gorgeous chocolate palomino color, with a beautiful silver mane and tail. Standing 14.3 hands tall and as thick as she is tall, she is the perfect size for any rider. Sugar goes back to the famous Dual Pep and Highbrow Hickory on the bottom side of her pedigree. On the top side of her pedigree, she is by Sugar Bear Deluxe, whose sire is Bills Sugar Bear. With her pedigree, she is bred to excel in whatever discipline her future owner wants. Her full siblings are already excelling in the ranch and rodeo world! Sugar is one of the sweetest horses you will find; she truly wants to be friends with her people. She has a beautiful walk, trot, and canter. She is soft and supple in the bridle and gives easily to cues from her rider. She picks up both leads flawlessly and is well-started on the turnaround. Sugars will also back up easily under saddle with simple cues. She side passes well, but with more finishing, it becomes second nature to her. She goes through all arena obstacles and has even been shown in Extreme Cowboy Races! Sugars are traffic-safe and sound and have even gone to the local gas station! Sugars is an easy keeper and will stall well or be perfect in the pasture. She doesn’t mind tarps, whips, bull whips, or pool noodles and has had a gunshot off of her before. Whether it is water, logs, or any other obstacle on a trail, Sugars will go through and over anything within her path. She is also not a stranger to working all day, as we have used her numerous times to gather and work cows all day. We have hauled her many places, and she loads & hauls like a dream like she isn’t even back there. She stands tied in cross ties or to a pole, patiently. Sugars stand for bathing, grooming, saddling, etc. She does not crib, weave, or have bad habits or vices. There are so many amazing things about this gorgeous mare that we are sure we have forgotten to add something, so please call with any questions we haven’t addressed in her ad! About Greensburg, KY

The 1780 settlement was originally known as "Glover's Station", for local landowner John Glover, who received 193 acres (0.78 km 2) in the area as a military grant after the American Revolution. Following the establishment of Green County (named for Revolutionary War Maj. General Nathanael Greene ) from parts of Lincoln and Nelson counties in 1792, Greensburg was laid out and established two years later as its eponymous seat of government. It was incorporated as a city a year after that. The central Public Square was also laid out in 1795 and has been retained as designed since then, with the only changes being the paving of the square with concrete and the installation of concrete dividers and parking meters in the four quadrants.
