Arabian Mare for Sale in Mt. Vernon, OH
Khloe is a 19 yo Arabain mare. She is pure Arabian and registered under Miss Majesty Afire, trying to get duplicates of her papers has been such a pain. I can discuss that more with someone who is interested. Khloe is super personable, LOOOOVES treats. Will look for them. She is pretty simple to work with on the ground. She can get extremely buddy sour, which consists of neighing every 2 seconds and shuffling constantly in the cross ties. Does not hard tie, she will pull back like crazy. She lunges okay. Easy to tack up. Puffs out so the girth needs tightened slowly. Pretty decent with standing still at the mounting block, she has her days. So easy to catch, with or without treats. Currently on gastro elm and alfalfa pellets. I had to put weight on her. I am selling Khloe because she is just a bit too much for me. I'm a very nervous person and an Arabian wasn't the right choice for me. She can be spooky at incredibly random things but tolerates random things. I need a trail horse deluxe and I think she will need too much work to handle trails. So far she's simply been an arena horse. Can be iffy picking up her right lead under saddle. She is a good W/T/C type horse. Can bend but has a side better than the other. Pretty smooth. From where she was ridden wrong before me, her back/hips would go out. With correct riding and conditioning and some chiro, she will be fine. Not fancy broke. I would prefer she went to an experienced Arabian person. Not for beginners. Maybe an intermediate with a trainer but def someone advanced. Khloe is a VERY difficult horse to load, I want to make that very clear. It takes a lot of time to get her loaded. My trainer is able to do it in a timely manner but she knows what she's doing as opposed to me. I would also like to be upfront and mention that she did scrape up her back right leg. It appears she kicked at a fence board and put a beautiful gash in her cannon bone area. It was swollen when it first happened about 3 weeks ago. It's healing and she has been ridden since and is fine, there is no lameness or heat. I just know it'll probably be ugly when her winter coat sheds. I can send pictures of said injury, it doesn't affect her. Please feel free to text me for videos and pics and more info. If she can be gone before February 1st I will def take $2500. I don't wanna pay another month of board and I need to start searching for my perfect trail partner. Thanks! LOCATED IN MT. VERNON, OHIO
