If not lunged enough before getting on, he may attempt a tiny crow hop. Never has fully bucked me. Just a lil sassy when he needs work. Otherwise extremely docile.
I have owned Loki since May of 2021. I got him as a project horse and thought I would have more time to dedicate to working him than I truly do.
Loki stands great for the farrier and vet. Loads well.
He is a sweet boy who just needs someone to consistently work with him. I have ridden him western in a snaffle bit. Previous owner rode him English. He has been sent to training for 30 days which helped soften him in the face but he needs an experienced rider. I do not have papers on him but believe he is a spotted saddle horse.
He has been pasture mates with both a mare and other gelding and did great.
Serious inquires only. I will be very specific as to where he goes because I adore this horse. I only want what’s best for him and that’s someone who sees potential in him and will be a good home. I am expecting so he has not been ridden since April.

About Smithfield, VA
Smithfield, first colonized in 1634, is located on the Pagan River, south of Jamestown and on the south side of the James River. The Native Americans knew this area as Warascoyak, also spelled Warrosquoyacke, meaning "point of land." The Virginia colony officially formed Warrosquyoake Shire (with numerous variant spellings, including Warrascoyack, Warrascocke and "Warwick Squeak") in 1634, but it had already been known as "Warascoyack County" before this. It was renamed as Isle of Wight County in 1637. In 1730, the Tobacco Inspection Act of 1730 established "Warricksqueak Bay, in Isle of Wight County" as the site of an official tobacco inspection house. The town was established as a seaport in 1752 by Arthur Smith IV.
