He is a beautiful 15.1 standardbred, at a perfect age of 14 years old. Healthy and well cared for, this boy is gentle, calm, a fantastic trail horse, sidepasses, gets along with other horses, he tacks-up quiet, stands at mounting block, loves to swim, crosses water, crosses logs, traffic safe, bathes, clips, ties, drives (needs refresher), exposed to bicycles, he will lead or follow, completely UTD/all vaccines done with annual exam, current negative Coggins. He is barefoot, as he doesn’t need shoes. Spring time vaccines done, 3/2023, dewormed, and teeth floated on March 3, 2023. Digger trailers excellent, he’s been on multiple camping trips, has done many, many miles of trail riding, will lead or follow, not spooky, and he’s sure footed on difficult terrain. Happy to walk along or will move out when asked, he’s up for most anything. Comfy gait. Digger has a lovely canter that we are further developing with our trainer; he’s doing fantastic. Goes English or Western. Mid-level in herd. Currently turned out with 3 full-size geldings and a mini. Friendly, kind, honest horse. Intermediate beginner; must be able to ride independently hands from legs and not to balance on the bit; most people with some experience can ride this horse. No vices, super easy keeper.
