Mimzy!
We absolutely love bringing you this exceptional mare!! Mimzy is as cute as a button and as smart and athletic as they come.
Check out her papers. She is bred up and down!
Mimzy has been a wonderful family addition but is unfortunately ready to find her new forever home! We have used Mimzy for tons of trail riding and packing all over the Rocky Mountains and in and around town! She’s seen everything from trains, bikes, vehicles, dogs, and large crowds! Nothing phases this mare! She is bred to work and absolutely loves anything you give her to do!
As well as lots of trail riding, we have used Mimzy for some kid’s lessons, and she takes care of just about everyone. She is very forward and willing to work.
Mimzy is catty and quick around cows, is easy to rope off of, and will drag whatever you ask. Loads, ties, bathes, and is easy for the vet and farrier! Mimzy gets along with every horse we’ve introduced her to, as well as people!

About Fort Collins, CO
Fort Collins was founded as a military outpost of the United States Army in 1864. It succeeded a previous encampment, known as Camp Collins, on the Cache La Poudre River, near what is known today as Laporte. Camp Collins was erected during the Indian wars of the mid-1860s to protect the Overland mail route that had been recently relocated through the region. Travelers crossing the county on the Overland Trail would camp there, but a flood destroyed the camp in June 1864. Afterward, the commander of the fort wrote to the commandant of Fort Laramie in southeast Wyoming, Colonel William O.
