Missouri Fox Trotter Gelding for Sale in Queen Creek, AZ
Ranger is a 9 yr old, red roan Missouri Fox Trotter. In great condition, up to date on vet checks, hoofs/teeth. Loads in trailer, good with feet, and gets along well with other horses. He's great going out alone and with others but he struggles a bit with confidence. No buck, bite or kick. He's soft and gives to the bit. Has go but not too forward. Literally one of the smoothest horses to ride and gaits naturally as well. He needs a confident rider and likes to be worked. He's had some training in the arena and working cows. We've taken him out to the desert and the river, ridden him bareback and he does great. He's registered and has really nice bloodlines as well.
About Queen Creek, AZ
From the post office form on file at the National Archives, Queen Creek was originally known as Rittenhouse, the community growing up out of a railroad stop. In 1919 the Queen Creek Farms Company was formed by C. H. Rittenhouse, constructing that railroad stop to ship the goods from the farm. As for the creek it takes its name from, Queen Creek, flowed through Queen Canyon and was named for the Silver Queen Mine, but it was originally called Picket Post Creek.
