Quarter Horse Gelding for Sale in Thedford, NE
Have you ever wanted to support an AMAZING foundation like St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital AND find the perfect family horse? This is your opportunity to do both! We are passionate about giving back whenever we are able and we have chosen to focus our efforts through St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and what they do to help families in need. We will be donating 10% of the final sale price of this gelding to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Families NEVER receive a bill for treatment with St. Jude so they are able to focus on recovery and being together as a family. We do this every time we sell a horse, in hopes that more families are able to get the medical resources they need, without the tremendous burden of endless medical bills weighing them down. We have chosen Venom to be our St. Jude ambassador in the hopes that we may help even just one family bring home a healthy child.
We call this fancy red dun rabicano gelding, Venom, and he catches eyes every place we go! Venom is a 2014 AQHA Red Dun Roan Gelding that stands 15H and will be an exceptional addition to anyone’s family! With a mane down to his nose and that unique roaning, it’s hard not to stop and look! “Venom” checks all the boxes for us; eye appeal, versatility, and an exceptional temperament. He is at the prime of his life at just 8 years old, standing 15 hands, and weighing around 1150 pounds. Venom will also come with his very own custom made St. Jude bit (seen in his photos) along with a brand new headstall and reins so you are ready to ride the minute he arrives! Another thing setting Venom apart from many others, is he also has a full comprehensive set of radiographs completed just a few months ago, along with a clean pre purchase exam! You can rest assured that you are buying a young, sound, and fully vetted gelding who is ready for whatever adventures you may have in store together! Venom has packed us across the Sandhills for several years now and is truly our go-to horse when we need something dependable and multitalented to use on the ranch. We haven’t kept him hidden in the hills all these years though, he is well versed in the arena and loves a trip to town to see the sights. He’s been to the bright lights and sounds of Las Vegas and took it all in stride, perusing the streets and city lights in nothing but his birthday suit! He will ride bareback and bridle-less or he can pack your fanciest of bits and tack with elegance and class. Brush the snow off his back and hop on knowing he is the same ride be it summer, winter, or spring! If you are looking for something elegant enough to hold his own in the show pen, yet confident and safe to ride the trails with alone, look no further! We have exposed Venom to every aspect of ranch life as well as a healthy dose of city life! Whether you want a surefooted mount for the trails, or a finished ranch horse to take to brandings, you can rest assured you will do it safely and on one of the fanciest horses in the country! We are pleased to offer a part of our family to yours and welcome anyone who wants to come take him for a spin! Please don’t hesitate to call with any questions you may have! We are more than happy to help with getting Venom to his new home, so don’t let transport worry you as we will do our best to either bring him to you if you are close, or help you find affordable and safe transport to your door.
