He is definitely in your pocket. Bandit is great for the farrier, and is easy to groom, bathe and clip. Stands quietly to be saddled, bridled and mounted. Rides off slow and easy. Bandit has a great handle. He will neck rein or ride off your seat and legs. Backs with ease and has a great woa. Bandit has a very smooth jog that anyone can sit and a to die for short lope. Bandit is great in any situation and very level headed. Takes everything with stride. You can take him down the busiest highway and he will not look up. He is great in a group. Will lead or follow. Rides out with or without company. No barn or buddy sourness. Extremely good trail horse that is very sure footed. Crosses all types of water, fallen trees and slippery rocks with ease. About Mount Vernon, KY
The area was first settled in 1790 around a feature called Spout Springs. Much of the area was originally swampland. The settlement was named for George Washington's home, Mount Vernon. The Wilderness Road arrived in 1792, and the town was the principal settlement when Rockcastle Co. was created in 1810.
