Mule Gelding for Sale in Brooksville, KY
Parker is a 6 year old 15.1 hand John mule. If you’re searching for a fun, go getter type of mule, Parker is your guy! Parker is one of the mules that participated in the 2022 Missouri Mule Makeover and is branded with their brand on his left shoulder. For anyone that knows about the makeover, you know just how much time and training these mules receive during their time of the makeover. He is no different! His trainer did an outstanding job with him this spring and summer. Parker walks, jogs, and lopes. He has an amazing one step walk to lope and lopes with ease. His gaits are very smooth. Parker will neck rein and ride completely off your seat and leg and does ride bridleless. He backs, side passes, has a nice stop, and will spin. He would make a very fun mule to show, especially in the ranch or English divisions. In addition to area work, Parker has quite a few miles outside too. He is ridden through our cattle regularly and doesn’t mind to go out alone or with a friend. He has been ridden on the road and is traffic safe. He’s even had emergency vehicles fly past him with sirens on and he handles that very well. Parker took his first trip to CO this fall on an elk hunting trip. He spent a week tied on the high line camping in the mountains. He handled the tough CO terrain with no issues. Crossing water, going through mud, leaving the group, staying with the group, he had no issues. Parker was comfortable being tacked up well before daylight and riding out before sunrise. He carried saddle bags and his rider with a back pack with no problem. He’s also been caught in the freezing rain and snow to gather loose cows at dusk and had no hesitations. Parker is a phenomenal mule that is certainly going to make someone a phenomenal partner. He does not require being ridden everyday, but the more riding he receives, the better he will be. He has had A LOT of excellent training, but is needs a rider to show some confidence still as he is still a fairly young mule. He really likes to bond with one person and make them his buddy.
