Quarter Horse Gelding for Sale in Hardinsburg, IN
Dolls Smoker Hancock is a 2016 AQHA gelding standing 16h.
He is one hand broke, and rides off seat and leg cues effortlessly. He will pivot, side pass, come into the bridle, and has a flying change. He has a big stride and covers ground but stays light in your hand.
We have done a lot of arena work, pole work, pattern work and have used him in some lessons for more intermediate students.
Anyone that considers themselves an avid trail rider, needs to own this horse. Any level of rider could easily take him down the trail and have a blast. He is not looky, spooky, and will happily separate from the group and go out on his own if need be. He tackles rough terrain and steep hills like a machine all while being super careful and sure footed. He would make an excellent first flight fox hunter. He will lope down the trail super light and right in your hand and is brave to any obstacles.
He used to be used as a mounted shooting horse so he would obviously excel in that arena but would also make a great rope horse prospect that’s big enough to go to the head side. He is also athletic and quick enough to start on the barrel pattern.
