Claira is stout built, standing around 15.1hh, is 4 yr old and is a true blue roan draftcross mare. Claira has been ridden around a small feedlot, checking and doctoring cattle. She has a good handle a quick stop, lopes nice circles and is always quiet and gentle. She is the perfect horse for the whole family to enjoy! She is easy to catch, clip, bath, tack-up, load, and handle in anyway. No matter where she goes or what she does, Claira is not spooky acting. On the trails she is always great! She has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife such as deer or turkey or other animals like cows or dogs and will go anywhere that she is asked too. She has been rode many miles in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky and encountered every obstacle possible on the trail. She will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and over all types of rough terrain while still being sure footed. She has been rode in traffic, and is very traffic safe around cars, semi, log, and dump trucks. She has a great personality and a great attitude about whatever she is asked to do. Claira is one that the whole family will love! Feel free to call Parker with any questions 319-242-2815. Located in Brodhead, KY.

About Brodhead, KY
What is now Brodhead was originally a stagecoach stop and drover's stable known as Stigalls Station. When the L&N Railroad reached the area in early 1868, a train station was established, and the town was given its current name. The town is believed to have been named for the contractor responsible for building the rail line in the area, or for Richard Brodhead, a U.S. senator from Pennsylvania.
