Christmas is coming and here is just what Santa has been looking for!!! Meet your next family member, Waylon! He is a 13.2hh, 8 yr old, Leopard Appaloosa Gelding. I bought Waylon from a good friend and he has owned Waylon for almost 4 years and Waylon had been his son’s first horse. Waylon has done his job and taught his son how to ride and he was ready to move on to a bigger 15h horse. Iv owned Waylon since back in the summer and the kids have ridden him everywhere! They have had friends over that have ridden him, they have trail ridden him, chased cows around on him… it just doesn’t matter how much you do or don’t ride Waylon he is always the same! It’s just as simple as catch, tack and send the kids down the trails! Waylon is also a great horse for those small adults who don’t want to ride a small pony but don’t can’t climb up on a big horse either! He is stout built and will carry a small adult. Waylon has been camping in several states, he has been in a couple parades and ridden through town. Waylon is easy to clip, bath, tack-up, load, and handle. He has been all over the farm and trail ridden by our 9 year girl (5 foot 1 inch tall) and our 4 year old girl has been learning to ride on him. He is a steady conistant horse that will help build confidence in a rider but also a horse that once they learn to ride they can go out rope, sort or pen cattle on. Wayon reins around nice and easy, lopes good circles and takes his leads, stocks and backs nicely as well. Waylon has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife such as deer or turkey or other animals like cows or dogs and will go anywhere that he is asked too. He safe around any kind of traffic from motorcycles to semitrucks. There is no guess work here, he is the real deal, he’s passed every test that we could throw at him! We can get him delivered BEFORE Christmas to just about any state, you can call to double check that for your location and get an approximate price. If the delivery timing is not going to work for you schedule we can also do a FACETIME call for the big surprise!!! Just Call Parker 319-242-2815 with any questions!

About Brodhead, KY
What is now Brodhead was originally a stagecoach stop and drover's stable known as Stigalls Station. When the L&N Railroad reached the area in early 1868, a train station was established, and the town was given its current name. The town is believed to have been named for the contractor responsible for building the rail line in the area, or for Richard Brodhead, a U.S. senator from Pennsylvania.
