Tennessee Walking Gelding for Sale in Fort Collins, CO
Moonshine is a four-year-old buttermilk buckskin paint TWH gelding
Ties well and good on the ground. We have done a ton of groundwork and desensitization with him.
He rides good, and we have had him on trails all over.
No buck bolt rear etc.
He’s young, so intermediate to experienced riders or someone working with a trainer. He has a good foundation and is a nice gelding who needs someone to go on with him. He is not for beginners at this time, he needs someone to guide him, but he definitely could be used for beginners with time.
He does great leading on the trail. Super brave and crosses whatever you point him at.
He’s gorgeous and young and a super sweet gelding. Will make an awesome trail horse for years to come.
About Fort Collins, CO
Fort Collins was founded as a military outpost of the United States Army in 1864. It succeeded a previous encampment, known as Camp Collins, on the Cache La Poudre River, near what is known today as Laporte. Camp Collins was erected during the Indian wars of the mid-1860s to protect the Overland mail route that had been recently relocated through the region. Travelers crossing the county on the Overland Trail would camp there, but a flood destroyed the camp in June 1864. Afterward, the commander of the fort wrote to the commandant of Fort Laramie in southeast Wyoming, Colonel William O.
