Looking for a nice trail or 4H horse for a young rider? Or trail mount for a smaller adult? Then Juno might be your guy!! This four-year-old 14.1 HH horse is ready to hit the trails. He has an awesome ground-covering walk. He will gait a few steps buts prefers a nice trot, whichever way you want to take him. He has been ridden by a 12 yr. old, experienced rider and does fantastic; he is not for a total beginner. He does well loading for the farrier and the vet. He has not been spooky on trails and will cross anything you ask him to cross, and has gone through tunnels. He stands still for mounting and dismounting, does well in crossties, great on trails or in an indoor arena. Whether it’s trails or arena Juno will make someone a great friend.
About Urbana, OH
Champaign County was formed on February 20, 1805 following the American Revolution and the Northwest Indian War. Colonel William Ward, a Virginian who had settled in the Mad River Valley with Simon Kenton in 1799, purchased 160 acres which he considered the logical and most acceptable site for Champaign's county seat. He approached the county commissioners with a proposition to locate the seat of the new county on this tract. Ward suggested that site to divided into 212 lots and 22 out-lots, half of which, selected alternately, were to be given to the county and while Ward would retain the remainder. Ward also offered two lots for a cemetery and a tract for the public square.
