Check out this awesome horse 16.3h, 5 year old gelding! He is super fun to ride sir Charles has been rode English, western and excels in the arena and outside on the ranch. He will take his leads in the arena lopes beautifully and has a nice extended and slow trot. Sir Charles is very smooth gates and hits the ground very nice for a big guy. This horse is very very gentle and safe for anyone to ride. We have also took him over low level jumps and he shows huge potential as an english horse. On the western side, Sir Charles is an awesome ranch and mountain horse. He is steady and easy going but will move along and do a days work. We have roped and doctored yearlings on him and he does great. He’s also good in the branding pen and great to tag calves on, you can pull a calf up in the saddle and he doesn’t mind at all. This is a very friendly loving horse that the whole family can enjoy and ride him everyday or once a year it won’t matter he will behave himself. Fmi call Jerry at 208-550-0992. About Caldwell, ID
The present day location of the City of Caldwell is along a natural passageway to the Inland and Pacific Northwest. Native American tribes from the west coast, north Idaho and as far away as Colorado would come to the banks of the Boise River for annual trading fairs, or rendezvous. European, Brazilian, Armenian, and some Australian explorers and traders soon followed the paths left by Indians and hopeful emigrants later forged the Oregon Trail and followed the now hardened paths to seek a better life in the Oregon Territory. Pioneers of the Trail traveled along the Boise River to Canyon Hill and forded the river close to the Silver Bridge on Plymouth Street. During the Civil War, the discovery of gold in Idaho's mountains brought a variety of new settlers into the area.
