Quarter Horse Mare for Sale in Fillmore, CA

I have this 8 year old sorrel mare. She’s an excellent ranch horse. I’ve done a lot with her, gathered and branded a lot on her. Started working with her in the roping arena and headed a few steers, so she can be a good rope horse prospect. I always trust her when we are out in the ranch, goes up any steep hill, stays on the trail, won’t slip or try to turn on you if your on a steep cliff, really will keep you safe. I really like her as a ranch horse but unfortunately I have to sell her for personal reasons. I want to make sure she goes to a good home. She’s gentle, I also have my younger brother who’s 10 ride her out in the pasture. She won’t buck or crow hop, even if you don’t ride her for a while. Very athletic, she will last all day. She’s real relaxing and easy going in the branding pen and going thru brush. I’ve had her for about 3 years now and all I’ve done on her is work on a cattle ranch. she is papered as well. If you text me I can send you more videos and pictures of her. I’m asking $17,000 OBO You can text me at (805) 815-8347 Located in Ventura County.

About Fillmore, CA

In 1769, the Spanish Portola expedition, first Europeans to see inland areas of California, came down the valley from the previous night's encampment near today's Rancho Camulos and camped in the vicinity of Fillmore on August 11. Fray Juan Crespi, a Franciscan missionary travelling with the expedition, had previously named the valley Cañada de Santa Clara. He noted that the party travelled about 9–10 miles and camped near a large native village. Founded in 1887 upon the arrival of the Southern Pacific Rail line, the city voted to incorporate in 1914, after a vigorous campaign by local business owners and the Fillmore Herald. In 1985, the city council voted to make English the city's official language.
