Take a close look at this beautiful bay gelding. We call him Harley, the Ranch Cadillac.
Harley is a solid, all-around ranch and trail mount suitable for any job you give him. We use him for every task around the farm, and he is up to the task each time – built solid with all-day stamina, he is ready to go.
Watch the video and come ride Harley for yourself. He has the temperament, athleticism, and calm-minded gentleness to go perfectly with a signature smooth four-beat gait. Bringing the best of the TWH breed with the looks and ability of a ranch horse, Harley is ready to be your next go-to horse.
TEMPERAMENT – Harley is trained for every situation, from guests to husbands to cowboys who want to work and check cows or trail riders ready for a long day full of obstacles and challenges. As you can see from his video, he is ready, willing, and more than able for anything we ask him to do. Traffic, animals, tarps, flags, crowds, sirens, lights, you name it – no problem for Harley.
CONFORMATION – He is a stand-up stocky ranch and trail horse with good looks to spare. Thick and muscular in good proportions, he will turn heads.
COLOR – Handsome Bay, top to bottom, is one of our favorites.
EXPERIENCE/ABILITY – First and foremost, Harley is and would make an excellent horse for serious trail riders. With his size, he can carry anyone, and when you ask him to gait, he steps up and out with smooth perfection.
He came to us as an experienced trail horse with a good mind and many miles under saddle. He has ridden in both large and small groups. He will ride out alone or in a group. Having completed our full program, he has the best ground and saddle training you can find – from basic lunging, flexing, picking up his shoulders, moving off your legs, and desensitizing to the obstacle course. This has been reinforced by practical experience and many hours doing his job. He can do anything a kid or cowboy asks and is an all-around winner.
If you like water, mud, and steep trails, just point Harley in the direction you want to go.
Need to move cows? He tracks, cuts, opens, and closes gates and regularly moves cows, and after a long day in the saddle, his four-beat gait will leave you feeling loose and ready to ride again. There is nothing under saddle this fine horse won’t willingly and capably do.
He is 100% sound with no issues, vices, or barn problems. He stands to be saddled, trimmed, bathed and used as a diving board in ponds and on trampolines. Whatever you want to do, Harley has been there and done that.
He has passed with flying colors our training and certification program and is proficient in all below and more:

About Natchez, MS
Established by French colonists in 1716, Natchez is one of the oldest and most important European settlements in the lower Mississippi River Valley. After the French lost the French and Indian War (Seven Years' War), they ceded Natchez and near territory to Spain in the Treaty of Paris of 1763. (It later traded other territory east of the Mississippi River with Great Britain, which expanded what it called West Florida). After the United States acquired this area from the British after the American Revolutionary War, the city served as the capital of the American Mississippi Territory and then of the state of Mississippi. It predates Jackson by more than a century; the latter replaced Natchez as the capital in 1822, as it was more centrally located in the developing state.
