Mustang Mare for Sale in Spring Creek, NV
Maverick is a one of kind personality, "little engine that can." She is titled as a sorrel but is a gorgeous peachy red dun color with dorsal strip. I got her for my daughter, from a friend of mine that is an excellent balanced horsewoman and trainer. Maverick was her first competeition mustang, Mustang Mania 2021, she took 8th place in hand freestyle. She is very smooth under saddle walk, trot, lope. I am selling her as green broke, but she is ready to be finished in any equitation direction. Never offered to buck or rear. She loves the domestic life and that has possed a bit of an issue with us since we are planning to move to Alaska and do not visit the arena. We are more mountains and trails ruff country people, pack out elk and deer. She needs to be a show girl and she has the heart in spades for it.We have found being her second people ever that she LOVES children and she is plenty stong enough to lope circle with a average sized adult. She is great in arenas and round corrals, trails are fine with groups. But out in the open riding solo she goes into survival mode and is very watchy hates plastic, and my twohorse strait load trailer, the hay tarp is okay but please dont try to make her wear it.She will load herself into a slant or stock trailer Because of this we have not tried to put a pack saddle or any animal hides on her. We have mainly rode her in the round pen and had her all over the back of our property. My daughter is an advanced beginner and I have done lessons with her and Mav. Maverick has a knack for it and would make a great lesson horse. When I have ridden her she is very responsive, I think she would do great in gymkanna, western, bareback, and english equitations. She is a boss mare and preffers not sharing her hay, at the trainers she got along with the other 2 horses and mothered the pony she was with. She is great with the farrier, and vet(never had shoes, vey healthy feet, utd on all vaccines, and current on coggins no health issues). I really want her to got to a intermediate/advanced or be used in lesson programs the right home I will negotiate on price. This mare has potential and great mind, but I need a simple trail horse my daughter.
